Invisalign® treatment: What is it? How does it work?
Invisalign® is a modern practice treatment that utilizes clear, removable aligners to gradually straighten teeth. These aligners are virtually invisible, making them a discreet alternative to traditional metal braces. Invisalign® clear aligners have become extremely popular, However, complex cases or severe malocclusions may require alternative orthodontic treatments.

Frequently Asked Questions
Invisalign treatment typically takes between 6-12 months, although this can vary depending on the individual case. Your dentist will create a treatment plan that is tailored to your specific needs and will be able to give you a more accurate estimate of how long your treatment will take.
While you can technically eat and drink with your Invisalign aligners in, it’s recommended that you remove them during meals and only drink water while wearing them. This is because food and drink can get trapped between the aligners and your teeth, which can lead to staining and other oral health issues. Additionally, chewing with the aligners in can cause them to become damaged or dislodged.
In order for Invisalign treatment to be effective, you will need to wear your aligners for at least 22 hours a day. This means that you should only remove them for eating, drinking (except for water), brushing and flossing. If you don’t wear your aligners as prescribed, your treatment may take longer than anticipated or may not produce the desired results.
