Dr. Kyle Kromrey was born and raised in South Florida, graduating from University of Florida, both for his undergraduate and his D.M.D. Go Gators! Upon graduation from dental school, he received additional training for advanced dental care in Cape Coral, Florida in a private practice setting. He then moved to Palm Beach County, and continues to serve patients nation-wide, while constantly expanding his knowledge through extensive ongoing training and continuing education.
Dr. Kromrey is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and American Dental Implant Association. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Atlantic Coast District Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry.
Driven by his passion for dentistry, Dr. Kromrey believes strongly in continuing education and attends courses regularly in order to stay up to date with all of the new technology and services available for patients. He uses his experience and knowledge with implant, laser, aesthetic dentistry, and full mouth reconstruction, to educate his patients so that they can make informed decisions and be an integral part of the treatment planning process.
In addition to continuing education, Dr. Kromrey has devoted his time to attending several mission trips in the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua. He continues to give back to the community through charity events and donation projects.
Dr. Daniel Noorthoek (said north-hook) was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI, and moved to Florida in 2003 to attend the University of Florida. He lived in Gainesville, FL while obtaining his undergraduate, dental school and Periodontal Specialty degrees. Prior to joining private practice at Palms Dental Care, Dr. N followed his passion for implantology and the TeethXpress, All-on-four procedure. He and his team have spent a great deal of time perfecting the Permanent Teeth-in-1-day process and have successfully completed over 800 cases in the last few years!
Outside of work, Dr. N enjoys spending his free time running, biking, boating, attending as many Gator football games as he can and relaxing with his wife, Beth, and Weimaraner puppy, Cole.
Dr. Valentina Mata grew up in Caracas, Venezuela, and moved to the United States in 2000 to finish high school. After completing her bachelor’s degree at Florida Atlantic University, she attended Nova Southeastern University (NSU) to obtain her DMD degree. Following graduation, she completed a general practice residency at Lutheran Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, becoming proficient in all areas of dentistry. She discovered her passion for surgery and decided to specialize in periodontics and implant dentistry at NSU for three more years.
During her specialty, Dr. Mata focused on regenerative procedures that help the body make new bone, ligaments, and cementum so healthy teeth and gums can be maintained. Her training was also focused on treating peri-implantitis (bone loss around implants) and growth of bone for future implant placement. Additionally, she trained on root recession coverage using donor tissue to avoid a second surgical site, as well as using the patient’s own blood to improve soft tissue healing.
Besides receiving clinical training in periodontics and implant placement, she focused her research on bone cell growth around different types of implant surfaces. She took special courses such as the completion of oral and plastic surgery on soft tissue grafting for teeth and implants.
Even with all her training, the most gratifying part of Dr. Mata’s job is when patients tell her that she has improved their quality of life.
When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring new places, and going to the beach. She’s also an animal lover.

"Dental hygiene has not only been rewarding but is also my passion. My career in the dental field began as a dental assistant. This is where I began to love dentistry. I practiced as a dental assistant for about 2 years and then decided to go to hygiene school. It is imperative for me to stay current with the latest information about dental hygiene in order to provide the best possible treatment, and I do this by attending continuing education courses. I have had the pleasure of practicing as a dental hygienist for about 8 years and enjoy my career every passing day. I am delighted to be a member of the Palms Dental Care team and work with a great group of professionals!"
