TeethXpress- Complete One-Day Teeth Replacement Solution
People faced with losing their teeth, or people who have missing teeth, can now permanently replace all teeth on top or bottom in one day. This is accomplished with dental implants and new fixed teeth that are screwed into place. They can only be removed in the dental office. This state-of-the-art procedure is the closest thing to having healthy natural teeth again. At Palms Dental Care, we use an advanced team approach where the board certified surgeon and highly skilled restorative dentist work together in the same office. People who decide to replace their teeth in this way have the highest level of satisfaction and greater self-esteem than any other full teeth replacement option. An evaluation is necessary to determine if this is a good solution for you. Call and find out!
Dental implants are artificial tooth roots, made of titanium, that are used to give people permanent fixed teeth where the natural teeth have been removed. Many times a person will have a single tooth that is not restorable due to decay, fracture, etc. If not replaced, there is generally a shifting of the surrounding teeth over time leading to problems such as food entrapment, decay, gum disease, malocclusion, etc. Implants allow us to replace missing/bad teeth without the need to shave down the adjacent teeth (as in a bridge). It is a very conservative, precise, and successful way to restore oral health.
Invisalign is a lab that makes clear trays that move teeth over time. Invisalign trays are used to correct small cosmetic rotations, shifts, or misalignment of teeth that create an un-pleasing appearance. It is a very conservative, comfortable treatment option. Your dentist at Palms Dental Care will evaluate the position and alignment of your teeth to determine if you are a good candidate. If so, impressions are taken along with photos and measurement and a treatment plan is developed to move the teeth into the correct position. It takes a few weeks to have the trays made. Then they are given to you in sets of three trays. Each set is worn for two weeks at a time until the desired movements have been completed. We will then usually top it off with some whitening leaving you with a beautiful, straight, all-natural smile.
General dentistry is a description used for most "everyday" dental procedures. These are procedures that dentists are trained well for directly out of school. For example: fillings, crowns, bridges, partial dentures, conventional dentures, extractions, teeth whitening, sealants, bonding, comprehensive and emergency treatments, and some root canals. Most dentists perform general dentistry with the exception of dentures and root canals (many dentists don't enjoy these procedures and do not offer them). It takes extra education to provide other procedures such as Invisalign, dental implants, snap-in dentures, and TeethXpress. All of these procedures are provided at Palms Dental Care.
